En fotos: El Impact de Montreal colapsó y la postemporada se les escapa de las manos

Los más de 20.000 hinchas dejaron el Stade Saputo este sábado con la impresión de que la temporada había terminado. El Impact de Montreal debía ganar, sumar tres puntos. Por el contrario, encajaron otra derrota de último minuto y ante un club de expansión.
El Minnesota United, un equipo que no tenía mayor ambición en este cierre de temporada de la MLS, se llevó la victoria 3-2 en un partido que Montreal parecía tener bajo control en apenas unos minutos.
El Impact ganaba 1-0 y tenía un penal a su favor, pero Ignacio Piatti erró, algo que casi nunca hace, y desde ahí los locales se ahogaron en su desesperación. Marcaron el 2-1 en la segunda mitad -gol de Dzemaili– pero terminaron cediendo, otra vez, un par de goles en los últimos minutos.
La derrota deja a Montreal en una situación complicada. Si bien no está eliminado, tendrá no sólo que cerrar las últimas fechas de manera casi perfecta, sino también necesitará algo de ayuda de los rivales.
Y el panorama empeora cuando tengan que enfrentar, el próximo miércoles, a su máximo rival y el mejor club de la MLS en la actualidad, Toronto FC.
