Roger Federer necesitó menos de una hora para ganar su primer partido de esta semana en Montreal. El suizo, con ahora 36 años, luce como en sus mejores momentos.
La víctima de Federer fue el canadiense Peter Polansky, quien a pesar de tener a una buena parte del público a su favor, poco pudo hacer para detener al suizo, quien ganó 6-1, 6-2.
Al final, el público se tuvo que rendir ante quien es para muchos el mejor de toda la historia, quien buscará mantener su buen momento con un nuevo título. Para muchos una final Federer-Nadal sería el sueño de los fanáticos del tenis.
