Más de 420 minutos pasaron para que el Impact de Montreal volviera a celebrar un gol. La sequía se terminó, y a pesar de algunos sustos, el club volvió a ganar un partido.
Victoria frente a su público, en una perfecta noche de verano, ante el Houston Dynamo.
El 1-0 fue responsabilidad de una genialidad del chileno Jeisson Vargas, quien con un sutil toque puso la pelota en el ángulo de la portería rival, para hacer saltar de sus asientos a los más de 17 mil hinchas en el Stade Saputo.
De esta forma Montreal pone fin al que se convirtió en el periodo más negro en su historia en la MLS, y logra calmar la crisis por el momento. Tres puntos que levantaron un peso enorme de los hombros de los jugadores, así como del técnico Rémi Garde.
El club visitará el próximo sábado al FC Dallas, intentando sumar puntos como visitante. Aquí las fotos del partido:
