Los habitantes de Terranova han tenido, sin duda, un fin de la primavera y un verano “especial”. En Montreal las mañanas han estado frías desde que comenzó el periodo estival, pero esta realidad no se compara con la que están viviendo en esta región de Canadá, donde hoy lunes 26 de junio, está cayendo nieve.
Ante la ligera nevada, el departamento de Transporte de la provincia está pidiendo a los ciudadanos manejar con prudencia. A través de las redes sociales, la instancia publicó una foto de una carretera en Burgeo, cubierta con una delgada capa de nieve.
Fotos publicadas en Twitter ambién muestran cómo la nieve ha cubierto autos y jardines.
De acuerdo con Environment Canada, la temperatura ha estado muy cercana al punto de congelación en algunas áreas.
La buena noticia para los afectados es que la nieve no durará mucho. Según las previsiones para esta región de Canadá, habrá más bien lluvia en las horas siguientes, lo que hará desaparecer cualquier acumulación.
